VW End of Financial Year Sale

FWIW, Volkswagen Australia are offering free CTP, stamp duty, dealer delivery and rego on stock Golfs (including the GTI) and Tiguans.

If anyone's in the market for a new Golf, now might be the time to buy.

Thanks for posting that info. It might set someone to commit to one if the T&C make it worthwhile. When you say stock models, I wonder if any dealers have the R in stock and thus part of this deal?

    It's worth considering, R buyers!

I wouldn't have considered that the R in particular would be included in this sale offer. It does surprise me a little that the GTI is part of the package. The potential saving would be what, $2500 to $3,000? I say potential because I would wonder as to whether your trade in, assuming you have one, would be similarly devalued to offset the saving.

The other thing to consider is could you have gotten the same discount through negotiating?
