Hey Toby, im running the Remsa pads and cant speak highly enough of them. I also have 2x other friends running the Remsa pads with much the same feedback as me. Link here to a DIY i did a while ago: http://www.vwgolf.net.au/showthread....pads-on-Golf-R
The brakes on the MK5 R32 are exactly the same as whats on the Mk6 R (except different colour), so the feedback and DIY info is relevant to your vehicle.
Im sure the Hawk's are also a good pad, and several people who posted before me are running them, but the Remsa's are also a good option to consider.
