I'm booked in for my 30,000 service tomorrow, however I'm only at 18,000 k's.

VW Skipper mentioned that it'll be roughly $440. Pity there aren't any loan cars available for tomorrow, but I'd still like it done then as I have the day off from work!

Reminds me it must be time for my 2 year service also then Justin, have only done 13000 km's in mine.

I'm going to book mine in at Elite again, hopefully should be less than Skippers $440 they're charging you.

I'm going to bring up the smelly Air Cond (and am hoping they don't charge me to have that fixed). Hoping this service includes an oil and coolant change also.

Not sure about coolant, but if they don't change the oil for $440 then what the hell do they do? Ps. Remember to tell them not to wash the car!!!

Had Nick Phelps look after me. Top bloke who's very knowledgeable for sure.

John Hughes even came to have a chat whilst waiting for a lift back into town. Offered to make me a coffee. I can see why he keeps winning those Customer Service awards.

Sorted the Air Cond and they did the oil change etc. Tyres still at 90% so all is going well. Dropped the price to $398 which was a nice surprise when I picked it up.

    Good news Justin.

Ps. When he asked you for a coffee, I hope your reply was....."absolutely" with a hearty knuckle point! hahaha

Agree re: Nick - he even pre-empted my request for black wheel weights for my 19's. If it was John's daughter offering you a coffee I would have been impressed...

I dropped into these guys today when I'd stupidly overfilled my oil. I haven't got around to getting car stands yet so took it to German Auto Service to see if they had time to drain some for me. They popped it straight onto the hoist and had me ready to go in 5 mins and didn't charge a cent! The workshop manager "Jesse" was very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to modified GTI's and also told me they do custom live tuning , which makes them the only workshop in Perth to offer live tuning that I know of.
Definitely recommend these guys for anyone south of the river.
