I've seen a couple of Red R's around. They look nice since it's so rare.

Didn't realise you could even get an R in Red. You can't get Red Scirocco R's for example.

Hey Taz. Yeah, I've seen a couple of reds around as well. For me it was 50/50 between White and Red. I went with white as it was easier. The test drive won me more than the colour. Thanks for welcoming me. Nice ride by the way......

It appears as though I've come to the right place to get some ideas on plans for the R. Hopefully I can give some useful ones back as well.

I hear you Adam. Nine months has been a killer but seeing that ship arrive knowing you are metres away and not being able to do anything for a few more weeks is even more frustrating.

Mate of mine has a GTI MK6 and it definitely was behind the idea of leaning towards VW. I test drove the likes of STI, EVO Bathurst, Volvo T6. None came close to the R but I'm sure many would disagree. I'm just hoping they don't disagree in this forum.
