We are now offering our new design and development convergent vanes rotor they are the sport tuned type rotor superior to oe and competitor application are for the VW MK5 R32 and Golf R 2012+ front and rear. We have been getting many positive feedback about its performance. The mass reduction on the front rotor is 7.8 lbs. the rear is 2.9 lbs. it is by far the lightest rotor out there for the MK5 R32 and Golf R, lighter rotors means better performance at the wheels and don't be surprise if your gain extra 10 to 15 whopping horsepower after installing these rotors. This is your chance to gain those hp back that was lost with the heavy rotors. It is proven that a lighter rotor can increase horsepower at the wheels click on the dyno testing.

Has the advantages of both drilled & slotted rotors.
Allows the disc to expand and contract and prevents the disc from cracking or warping.
Increasing cooling area and retains more friction surface.
Slots relieves thermal stress.
Slots are self cleaning and the pad build up will not clog the slots and are exhausted via the rotor edge keeping the disc surface clean.
Reduces brake pad dust buildup and keeps the wheel clean through vacuum effect.

Rotor Material: Racing Formula Alloyed Gray Iron & Heat treated
Machining: Straight Slot
Surface: EDP Coating w/cross cut grinding on friction surface

Front rotor weight Comparison
OEM Rotor 27 lbs.
RB 2 Piece 19.2 lbs.
Weight Savings: 7.8 lbs.

Rear rotor weight Comparison
One-piece 24 lbs.
RB Two-piece 12 lbs.
Weight Savings: 2.9 lbs.

Total weight savings: 20.8 lbs.

Yeah. Not the best way to say it. I'm sure that they mean that the weight loss is "equivalent" to a 10-15 whp gain :)

It will show on a chassis dyno as more power, but it aint going to make more power if you know what i mean. Its just less rotational mass to turn thats all. The engine doesnt magically make 10-15hp more lol

Like a lightened flywheel, readings will be higher as less power is being sapped.
