    Slade's Stage 2+ Pirelli

Hi all. new to VW and this forum. picked up a mk5 pirelli. seems to have a few sneaky mods i'm just learning about due to them not being obvious on first inspection. its also even harder to work out whats been modded due to the pirelli being so different from the gti. suspension is stiffer, turbo bigger etc etc.

all I can say is that its WORLDS apart from all the 2005-2007 gti's that I test drove in the lead up to this purchase. even my mate that works at a VW dealership said he recons this thing is faster than the golf R. not sure about that but if you put it in sport and use launch control it will break traction through every gear until 4th. I'm guessing that with the mods I know about, and the ones I might not, and that its a pirelli, that I am around the 210kw mark. I'm getting it dyno'd today and will be interesting to see just how amped up this thing is compared to a stock pirelli. also fingers crossed its not been thrashed to death!

will add more as I find them.....

Welcome to le forum! I've been fascinated with what the Pirelli edition has to offer- I haven't seen many on the road and am curious to find out.

Good buy mate. Still miss my Pirelli.

210KW ATW is possible with fuel pump and downpipe.

Mine had 186KW ATW with just an APR tune and APR Intake.

in a straight line they are comparable but in every other way the pirelli destroys the gtir (GTiR's dont turn in half as well as the golf does and its rough as guts, half the interior gone, nasty short shift kit, no power steering as the front mount piping got in the way of it so on and so forth)
